Event Details

The Spring Dumpster event is set for Friday, April 18th to Sunday, April 20th. This event provides the perfect opportunity to clear out unwanted items and revitalize your living space.

The dumpsters will be conveniently located at:

  • Trash Dumpster: 139th Ave SE

  • Yard Waste Dumpster: SE 158th St

Dumpster Guidelines

To ensure everything runs smoothly, please follow these guidelines when using the dumpsters:

  1. Proper Placement: Place your items in the correct dumpster. This keeps things organized and reduces confusion.

  2. Avoid Overfilling: Do not fill the dumpsters to the brim. Leaving space allows everyone in the community to dispose of their waste properly.

  3. Items Not Allowed: Before you head out, review the list of prohibited items. These include but are not limited to:

    • Bulbs: Fluorescent bulbs or any other lighting fixtures.

    • Batteries: Car batteries or rechargeable batteries should be taken to specialized recycling stations.

    • Wet Paint: Paint in its original can cannot be dumped. Instead, consider drying it out using sand or sawdust before disposal.

    • Electronics: Old televisions, computers, and similar items require proper returns to electronics retailers or recycling centers.

    • Tires: These need to be taken to designated tire recycling locations.

    • Chemicals: Products like pesticides or cleaning supplies should be handled according to local hazardous waste guidelines.

What to Expect

When you arrive at the dumpster locations, you will find them clearly marked. Be considerate of others using the dumpsters. Keeping the area tidy and helping your neighbors will create a positive experience for all involved.

Recycling and Sustainability

While the Spring Dumpsters are convenient for disposal, think about recycling and sustainability. If you have items that can be reused, consider donating to local charities or taking them to recycling centers.
