The sidewalk space directly across from our house (15531 139th Ave SE) seems to be a favorite for suspicious vehicles to park. 3 weeks ago a black Mazda parked there from about 2:40-4:40am and young girl with brown hair was exiting the vehicle and roaming the neighborhood before she tried to walk up to our accidentally left open garage door and was scared away. Today a Ford f150 with no plates parked there from 6:15-7:30am when Tom saw him and called the cops because this corner is also a school bus stop and kids did walk right past the truck while he waited. Cops showed up and confirmed he had priors for home burglary and asked him to leave. They said he probably took his plates off so he could prowl and they wouldn’t want him in their neighborhood either.
This is the very essence of why the neighborhood WATCH was born. Not that I'm glad these people are prowling around but it is good to have way to let people know quickly. Thank you for reporting this.
