If you saw my earlier post about a prowler on January 4th, this is a related update. We’ve noticed a car driving by our house between 2:20-2:30 AM on multiple occasions over the past two weeks. The car slows down and then turns around immediately after passing our house on 159th. We recently installed additional cameras, so we’re unsure if this was happening before, but it’s something we’ve now documented. We filed a report with the non-emergency police line, and they mentioned that, given other incidents in our neighborhood this past month, this pattern is worth noting. This has occurred on different days of the week each time, and while we can’t identify much about the car beyond it being a sedan, we wanted to share this in case others have noticed anything similar. Use Outdoor Lighting: Keep your home well-lit at night with motion sensor lights or porch lights. 3. Install Security Systems: Consider adding cameras, alarms, or video doorbells to deter potential intruders. 4. Watch Out for Suspicious Activity: Report unfamiliar vehicles or individuals acting suspiciously to local law enforcement. 5. Don’t Leave Valuables Visible: Avoid leaving items like electronics, cash, or keys visible through windows. Leave porches clear and bring in packages. 6. Be Neighborly: Keep an eye out for each other’s homes, especially if you know someone is away. If you notice anything suspicious, big or small,, please call 911. Hi! Last Saturday at 7 pm we unfortunately had someone come and look into our windows and walk around our property for several minutes before leaving. This was exactly 10 minutes after we had left the house, a car was still in the driveway, and all of the lights were on in the house. Spooky! We've since added additional cameras and security measures, but wanted to share the best screengrab we could of our visitor. Be safe!
